Reflection Message

Due to current world events (COVID-19, wars, earthquakes in several places, volcanoes erupting, etc.), I feel that the coming of our Lord is close. While we do not know when it will be, He told us to always be ready.

Hence, I’ve felt moved to encourage each believer to ask himself the following questions and answer them honestly:

1. If our Lord comes tomorrow are you absolutely sure you are ready to leave with Him?

2. Are you striving to honor our King and to reflect His Light to others in this world?

3. Do you believe it is O.K. to consciously sin because we have grace through Jesus?

4. Do you believe in all the Word of God or do you pick and choose what is convenient for you?

After you answer these questions, read the following Scriptures behind:

1. “So what are we going to say? Should we continue sinning so grace will multiply?
Absolutely not! All of us died to sin. How can we still live in it?” (Romans 6:1-2 CEB)

2. “…as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV).

3. “Don’t even begin to think that I have come to do away with the Law and the Prophets. I haven’t come to do away with them but to fulfill them. I say to you very seriously that as long as Heaven and Earth exist, neither the smallest letter nor even the smallest stroke of a pen will be erased from the Law until everything there becomes a reality. Therefore, whoever ignores one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do the same will be called the lowest in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps these commands and teaches people to keep them will be called great in the kingdom of Heaven” (Matthew 5:17-19 CEB).

4. “Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he appeared to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Whosoever abides in him does not sin: whosoever sins has not seen him or known him” (1 John 3:4-6 JUB).

5. “If we make the decision to sin after we receive the knowledge of the truth, there isn’t a sacrifice for sins left any longer. There’s only a scary expectation of judgment and of a burning fire that’s going to devour God’s opponents. When someone rejected the Law from Moses, they were put to death without mercy on the basis of the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think is deserved by the person who walks all over God’s Son, who acts as if the blood of the covenant that made us holy is just ordinary blood, and who insults the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:26-29 CEB)

6. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV).

My brothers, I don’t know what doctrine each of you practices, but I am writing to encourage you to share the full message of the Gospel and to practice it to the best of your ability, which is: to repent, accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, invite Him into our hearts as our Lord and Savior (Ephesians 3:17) and strive each day to be more like Jesus.

Scripture warns us that grace is not a free pass to sin and much less is our Lord’s sacrifice. God expects us to turn our backs on sin and to not be lukewarm. To clarify, anyone who keeps on living in sin, consciously, has not repented or understood the gift of the Gospel.

Please think about this and please share this message. Our Lord will come like a thief in the night and He wants us all to be ready.

Love,
Natasha Miller
(A servant of the Lord Jesus Christ)

I seal this letter with the precious blood and name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
